Adam is the founder and CEO of Forerunner Energy, where he leads project origination, site development, capital strategy, and strategic partnerships. An entrepreneur across energy and technology, he moved from a high-performing telecommunications sales career into solar entrepreneurship in the early 2010s and has spent the years since building ventures at the intersection of energy, AI, and infrastructure. He is also the founder and CEO of SmartOptimize.ai, an AI automation company, and brings that combined energy-and-AI perspective to Forerunner's focus on powering compute-intensive and mission-critical facilities.

Michael is Forerunner Energy's technical and automation architect. He designs the software systems, AI agents, and operational workflows that support Forerunner's project development and delivery — from proposal and client-onboarding automation to the company's AI and Energy Readiness Assessment, which evaluates facilities across automation adoption, electrical load growth, EV charging, solar, battery storage, backup power, and compute infrastructure. His work spans mobile applications, data-routing infrastructure, and knowledge systems, with a focus on making complex operations repeatable, trackable, and scalable.

Courtney leads finance, administration, and organizational structure at Forerunner Energy, serving as the control point for the company's billing, purchasing, and financial documentation. A certified business administrator with years of experience managing institutional budgets, schedules, and operations, she brings the financial discipline and organizational clarity that keep a fast-moving development company coherent. She is also active in community and environmental programming in the Salt Lake City area.

Dave leads field operations at Forerunner Energy, drawing on years of hands-on experience in electrical and lighting systems — including startup, commissioning, and control-system programming for commercial and institutional projects. He oversees site surveys, licensing and contractor strategy, subcontractor structures, and project scoping, and maintains the industry relationships that bring solar, electrical, and infrastructure opportunities into the company. His grounding in how projects actually get built keeps Forerunner's designs deliverable in the real world.
